WASHINGTON, D.C. (Oct. 30, 2026) — DC Power Football Club will travel away to Florida this Sunday, November 1 to face Tampa Bay Sun FC for their tenth match of the 2026 Gainbridge Super League Fall Season. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. EST at Suncoast Credit Union Field, Florida. DC Power are currently fourth with 14 points in the Super League standings, while Tampa Bay are second to last, in seventh place with nine points.
DC Power FC most recently earned their fourth win of the campaign, getting the better of Dallas Trinity FC in a 1-0 win at home this past Sunday, October 25. The hosts took an early lead in the tenth minute when midfielder Emily Colton was first to a rebound after Abby Boyan hit the crossbar with her long-range effort. DC Power held onto their lead throughout a physical contest between the sides and recorded their first clean sheet of the season, with rookie goalkeeper Katie Cappelletti making four saves.
Tampa Bay Sun FC return home after falling to Brooklyn FC in a 1-0 contest at Maimonides Park, NY. The away side started the match strongly, as Samantha Kroeger hit the cross bar and an opening goal for Tampa Bay was called offside in the 26th minute. Both sides traded shots until Catherine Zimmerman tapped home a cross in the 90th minute to secure a win for Brooklyn in the final seconds of the match. The result extends Tampa Bay’s losing streak to three matches, with the Florida side having conceded six goals and scored only one during that stretch.
Sunday’s match is the ninth meeting between DC Power and Tampa Bay Sun FC. DC Power’s all-time regular season record against Tampa Bay is 1-4-3, with four goals scored and 10 conceded. The last meeting between both clubs was on September 18, 2026, and ended in a 1-1 draw with goals coming from Shea Connors and Emma Jaskaniec. Jaskaniec’s backheel goal went on to be nominated for Super League Goal of the Month. Despite the record between the two sides, DC has been the stronger performer this season and will be looking to continue their good form. A win against Tampa Bay would record three home wins in a row for Power and continue cementing their playoff position in the Super League standings.
DC Power FC’s match against Tampa Bay Sun FC will be streamed live on Peacock TV beginning at 5:00 p.m. EST.
