After 24 years of outstanding service in the United States Air Force, Jan Adams retired at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant and decided to focus on building her own consulting firm. In 2005, she founded JMA Solutions, LLC, a company that oversees a diverse group of management staff and employees. She and her team have grown the company through hiring ultimate professionals who assist the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other Federal clients in the areas of program and project management, air traffic management, engineering services, training, financial management, PMP bootcamp training software development and other disciplines.

Jan is very active in the community and serves on various boards including the African American Civil War Museum Board, the Arena Stage Board of Trustees, the University of the District of Columbia Foundation Board, and she is an Honorary Board Member of the Thelma D. Jones Breast Cancer Fund. In addition, she is a corporate partner of the D.C. Adopt-a-School program.

Jan is the recipient of the 2023 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, the 2019 DC Chamber of Commerce’s Chairman’s Choice Award, Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Mid-Atlantic Region and in 2019 she was inducted into the Washington, DC Hall of Fame for her dedication and outstanding contributions to the DC business community.

NCAA champion and the newest member of the WNBA’s Chicago Sky, Angel Reese is one of basketball’s brightest superstars already making a significant impact both on and off the court. Hailing from Randallstown, Maryland, Reese is the eldest child of Angel Webb Reese, who played both collegiate and professional basketball and comes from a family of elite athletes. She went on to be named to Team USA’s 2023 Women’s AmeriCup Roster and represented the United States last summer in Mexico before finishing her last collegiate season with LSU as the 2024 SEC Player of the Year.

Devin Talbott is a local investor and entrepreneur committed to building soccer in DC and expanding soccer’s reach and benefits in his hometown. Talbott founded and runs Enlightenment Capital, one of DC’s most active private investment firms. Talbott played soccer at Amherst College, where he helped lead the school to its first ever Final Four appearance. He was an owner of the Washington Spirit when the team won the 2021 NWSL Championship. He is a current owner of D.C. United and is on the board of DC SCORES; an organization that brings soccer and mentorship programming to over 3,000 middle school kids across the city. He has three children who all play soccer.

A longtime residential real estate executive over the last 15 years, Stuart is the Founder and Managing Partner of the Next Move Real Estate brands. In 2021, he helped launch the Sports and Entertainment business vertical of Keller Williams Realty across North America where he currently maintains a co-leadership role. Stuart is a 2005 graduate of Haverford College earning a BA in Political Science and where he played on the Men’s Soccer team. He joins the ownership group with his wife Stacey, a member of 2003 Duke University Women’s Field Hockey National Finalist team. They have three children actively involved in local youth sports and reside in Northern Virginia. Stuart is also backed and supported in the ownership group alongside his family office inclusive of Jonah Stuart, Meaghan Woodbury, and Bradley Stuart.

Crystal Renee Hayslett, acclaimed for her role as ‘Fatima’ on BET’s hit series SISTAS, has not only captivated audiences for seven seasons but also spawned her own successful spinoff, ZATIMA, set to premiere its third season on BET+ this year. Additionally, Crystal shines in her acting and singing talents in the feature film PRAISE THIS, currently streaming on Peacock.

Beyond her entertainment career, Crystal’s passion for personal growth and empowering women led her to create Keep it Positive, Sweetie (KIPS), a podcast fostering vulnerability and exploration of various topics. Recently, she brought KIPS to the stage with a sold-out live show in Atlanta, featuring notable guests and a musical performance.

Originally from Martin, TN, Crystal earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communication and public relations from the University of Tennessee at Martin. After transitioning from a career in politics to pursuing acting and music, she found success at Tyler Perry Studios before landing her breakthrough role in SISTAS.

Josiah Gray, a rising star in Major League Baseball, has been an integral player for the Washington Nationals since joining them. Named a Major League Baseball All-Star for the first-time in 2023, native New Yorker Josiah “JoJo” Gray is currently in his third full season with the Washington Nationals and began the 2024 season as the team’s Opening Day starter.

After being selected by the Washington Capitals in the first round in the 2020 NHL Draft (22nd overall), Hendrix Lapierre has quickly established himself as one of the most versatile young forwards in the NHL and was a key contributor to the team’s run to the 2024 playoffs. He is originally from Québec, Canada.

Frédéric Brillant is a French former professional soccer player. Fred started his soccer journey in France and he has played most of his professional career with clubs in Belgium and in the United States.  With perseverance and hard work, he climbed up Belgium divisions and become an importance piece in the back line of 1st division clubs Beerschot and K.V. Oostende before transferring to Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States.

Brillant was acquired by New York City FC from Oostende in January, 2016. While at New York City FC, Fred shared the pitch with teammates like Frank Lampard, David Villa, Andrea Pirlo, Andoni Iraola while being coached by the famous World Cup Champion, Patrick Viera. The latter said of him “he was very composed with the ball at his feet and had a great understanding of the game.” 

Brillant spent 2 years with New York City FC and in 2018 he joined what would become his beloved Club, D.C. United.  For his consistency with D.C., he was featured in the MLS’s Team of the Week multiple times. Pairing with Steven Birnbaum in the defense In 2019, Fred wore the Captain’s arm band multiple times and contributed to 14 clean sheets while leading the Club to be the best defense in the Eastern Conference with only 38 goals conceded, while personally achieving 210 clearances to be recognized as the MLS League leader. Of note, Fred played with Wayne Rooney during this time and Fred scored the first and only Playoff goal for the home team at Audi Field.

While still competing professionally for D.C. United, Brillant worked with the D.C. United Academy and USSF to gain his coaching accreditation. After completing his National C Coaching License certification through the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) in January 2021, Fred Obtained His National B coaching license the next year. 

On January 11, 2022, Brillant announced his retirement from playing and professional football and immediately was named as an assistant coach to USL Championship-side Loudoun United FC.  On April 22, 2022 it was announced that Brillant had been hired as an assistant coach for D.C. United, his former club.  Working under Head Coach Chad Ashton (and later Wayne Rooney), Fred performed the role as an assistant coach with great success and quickly impressed.  In 2023, Fred obtained the prestigious U.S. Soccer “A” license.  After the departure of Head Coach Wayne Rooney to Birmingham FC, Fred became the interim Head Coach of D.C. United until the end of the 2023 season. 

With all the changes made in the Club and the arrival of a new Head Coach, on March 13, 2024 Brillant was announced as an assistant coach for the Utah Royals of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), an expansion side in its inaugural season. 

On May 20, 2024, Brillant was officially appointed the first Head Coach in Club history for DC Power Football Club.
