WASHINGTON, D.C. (Nov. 6, 2026) – DC Power Football Club return home to Audi Field this Friday, November 6 to face Lexington SC for their 11th match of the 2026 Gainbridge Super League Fall Season. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. EST at Audi Field, Washington, D.C. DC Power are currently second with 17 points in the Super League standings, while Lexington hold the final playoff spot, in fourth place with 14 points.
DC Power FC most recently earned their fifth win of the campaign, with a last minute goal to beat Tampa Bay Sun FC 2-1 on the road this past Sunday, November 1. Forward Loza Abera opened the scoring in the 42nd minute, flicking home a cross from defender Samantha Angel for her fourth goal of the season. After Tampa Bay equalized through Tori Waldeck in the 83rd minute, substitutes Tatum Thomason and forward Alyssa Walker combined for the winner, with Walker lifting a long-range effort over goalkeeper Cristina Roque for her first goal of the season. The result moved DC Power to back-to-back wins and a 3-2-0 record on the road this Fall.
Lexington SC arrive in Washington after a 1-0 defeat at Carolina Ascent FC on Saturday, October 31. Emily Moxley scored the only goal of the match in the 32nd minute, as the defending champions were held to a single shot on target in the first half against the league’s top-ranked defense. Lexington have now gone two matches without a win following a 3-3 draw with Sporting JAX on October 23, a match in which forward Catherine Barry scored her club-leading fifth goal of the season and Addie McCain, the Gainbridge Super League’s all-time leading scorer, added a third. The match against DC Power is crucial for Lexington, being their last matchup against a team higher in the standings for the Fall 2026 slate.
Friday’s match is the ninth meeting between DC Power and Lexington SC. DC Power’s all-time regular season record against Lexington is 2-3-3, with 10 goals scored and 14 conceded. The last meeting between both clubs was on August 29, 2026, and ended in a 2-1 DC Power win at Lexington SC Stadium, with goals coming from Loza Abera and midfielder Emily Colton. That result was DC’s first win against Lexington since the clubs’ first-ever meeting in October 2024. A win on Friday would see DC Power complete a season sweep of the defending champions and extend their advantage over Lexington to six points in the race for a playoff spot.
DC Power FC’s match against Lexington SC will be streamed live on Peacock TV beginning at 7:00 p.m. EST.
