Post-match Quotes:
Head Coach Frédéric Brillant
Overall Thoughts on the Match…
“I am very happy. We did a good job and played very well today. We executed the game plan very well. We played against a very good team who are strong up front with fast and dynamic players. We were well organized and they [Fort Lauderdale] have a style of play that is very hard to deal with. Today we have done a very good job and I am very pleased.”
On Anna Bagley’s Game-winning Performance…
“I am very happy for Anna [Bagley]. Normally she starts, last week she started. Today she came off the bench and she has done a good job again. We made that choice because we wanted to change things tactically and when she came on she did the job. She deserves to score. It was a good goal and she had great energy when she came in so I’m very pleased for her.”
On Nicole Douglas’ Debut for Power FC…
They were excellent. We will start with Nicole [Douglas]. She was outside the team for a little bit and she had an individual fitness program. Obviously she didn’t touch the ball too often while away. She’s not one-hundred percent fit but she has done what I’ve asked her to do. She had a very good game and was well organized when she had the ball and was very dangerous.”
